Today I am branching out into a new style of bag - Gypsy Style. The idea of the Victorian crazy quilt is also a jumping off point. Find this style very exciting - so many possibilities. My first stab (lol - poked my fingers several times) at ribbon embroidery - did not have the 100 percent silk ribbons that are recommended - but have plenty of satin ribbon in my stash. Had to use the needle nose pliers to pull the ribbon through at times, but happy with the flowers on the black velvet patch. This is such an awesome way to repurpose old clothes.
